while i have plenty of experience traveling with othrs or alone in the states, i've never travelled out of the country [ save canada].

i am degreed and have transferrable skills like hospitality and education. what is the reality of me finding a job abroad and living/working alone, as a white female elsewhere?

also, what kind of jobs have you/have you seen white american girls working abroad?

my concern is mostly for safety, and not being taked advantage of because i am foreign and probably dont speak the native language.

thank you!

  • I would start with travelign to a country you think you would like to liv ein.

All places hav ejobs for people with soem skills.. not always at a level of incoem you may wish.. definitely language is an advantage.

    I have studied several languages.

I will be workign in a central america school by thi stiem next year.
i speak Spanish and hav etraveled all over.i am goign back to volunteer and then begin more applying.

    I wish you well.
  • I would start with usajobs.gov

The United States governments employs tens of thousands of people all over the world. If you become a DOD school teacher your summers are yours. Other jobs you still get decent pay, housing etc... and a pretty decent amount of time off. Good Luck!
