I will be cruising Alaska for 14 days with stops in Ketchikan, Glacier Bay, Skagway, Valdez, Seward, Kodiak, Icy Strait, & Juneau.
If you have any experience in any of these places, or know of things that should not be missed, please let me know here or by pm.
I love to fish but so far what's offered from the Cruise lines is way too pricey for my budget.

its much cheaper.
Also the smaller cruiiselines.. Alaska Sightseeing Cruisewest has smaller boats and less expensive prices.
Plan on very variable weather.. cold and HOT.

But I'm only going as a glorified babysitter.
If I was able to go to Alaska on my own, it would probably be on a fishing boat, Train, or caravan.
