This possibility is still in its early gestation (read: "Well, gee, what do you think?"), but I might be headed to Tibet after Thanksgiving with a friend...

I posted over in the Cheap International Flights tribe about where might be best to fly from CA (China or Nepal/India), but I also wanted to poke my head in here and see if anyone had something to contribute. Not just about flight logistics, but also about traveling in that area.

See, I'm a woman. Ok, that much is apparent. But I'm also deaf. Which is not readily apparent at first sight, but still makes things that much more (potentially) interesting. Has anyone had experience traveling through Tibet (and China or Nepal) as a woman with a disability?
